In the 2-4 Room we use the Jesus Storybook Bible. The goal isn't for children at this age to understand everything in every story, but rather to have a basic memory of these stories and know that each story points to Jesus in some way. We have a total of 7 main ideas that are scattered and repeated throughout the weeks of the year, as we work through the entirety of the Jesus Storybook Bible together. We hope that these main ideas carry with them as they move up to the 4-6 room, giving them a foundation to build upon.

The 4-6 Room uses "The Way" Curriculum. This curriculum was designed by the Kingdom Kids Director, Lead Elder, Church Staff, and Pastors. Every year the kids will cycle through the Bible, hitting on the very important elements that point to Jesus. We hope to give them tools so that they are able to read the Bible and understand the Bible as a single story told by one author, King Jesus himself. The 4-6 room and the 6-11 room have almost identical lessons, with the 4-6 room being just a little simpler.

We hope as the kids go through the curriculum from year to year, they will begin to put more pieces together for themselves to understand concepts that are foundational to their Christian walk. We pray this will prepare them well for Youth Group, when they begin to make their faith their own.
