Menomonie Alliance Church

I'm new, what can I expect?

Menomonie Alliance Mission
At Menomonie Alliance Church (MAC) our mission is to offer hope to everyone, including you, through a growing relationship with Jesus. MAC focuses on teaching directly from God’s word (the Bible), about prayer, fellowship and Jesus, getting to know, love and follow him.

I haven't been to church in a long time. Is it okay for me to come?
Of course! Never hesitate to join us in worship. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been away from the church for a long time or if this is your first time stepping foot into a church, you are welcome here!

What can I expect when I come to Menomonie Alliance Church?
You can expect a warm welcome from people who are here to worship God. We are far from perfect and we are thankful for the gifts of worshiping through music and hearing from Godís word. Services generally run about 75 minutes; and we host a coffee corner where you can get coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.

Is there something for my kids?
Of Course! We have activities for kids of all ages that support their relationship with Christ too. Click here to learn more about our children’s programs called DISCOVERY LAND!

What style of music can I expect?
Our worship team is filled with some amazing God given talent. We sing old songs, new songs, hymns and contemporary music. Don’t worry, the words to all the songs will be projected so you can sing along! If you don’t sing well, that’s ok, neither do most of our pastors!

Is there a dress code? What should I wear?
Yes… our dress code is “be yourself!” We tend to be on the casual side; however the occasional suit is spotted or in the summer, you’ll see leather worn by our biker friends. Just come as yourself, we look forward to meeting you!

Where are you located?
Great question! We are located at 502 21st St. N. If you know where the Red Cedar Medical Center is, you’re almost there! We’re north of the clinic a few blocks, on the right (east) side of the street. If you get to the lake you’ve gone too far.  You can’t miss us.

I’m struggling with some personal problems. Is help available?
Help is available to you in a variety of ways. Many people would be happy to talk with you, including our pastors and elders. We also have a free Biblical Counseling ministry here at church.

What is Communion? Can I take it?
Communion is a time of remembering our Lord Jesus together. We use grape juice to symbolize Christ’s blood and gluten free crackers to symbolize Christ’s body. You do not have to be a member of our church to participate in communion; you just have to know and love Jesus.

So, what does “Alliance” mean?
Menomonie Alliance Church is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) denomination. You can find out more about the C&MA here.

How do I get involved?
If you’re new to our church, the best way to get involved is to get to know us and let us get to know you. After you’re comfortable here there are many opportunities to serve.

How do I become a member?
We have membership lunches where you can learn more about the church, the staff, and the process for becoming a member about 4 times a year. However, you don’t have to be a member to be considered a part of our family.

Do you have air conditioning?
You got it.

Am I too young or too old?
Not at all! Our congregation is diverse in age, between 0 and 100.
